I was inundated with complements about the quality of the food and service, as we all reflected on an occasion that will live with us for a long time: “those oysters were the best I’ve ever tasted”, “that whipped cod roe was delicious”, “I can’t believe how superb the meal was”, “the staff and their service was so impressive” “the staff anticipated our needs and knew exactly how to look after us” “the staff did an absolutely phenomenal job”. My one regret is that I didn’t properly thank the staff on the evening, which is what they deserved. So much was going on, we needed to vacate the space, and I realised the next morning that I hadn’t taken the time to relay my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to them in real time. Could you be sure to pass this on to each of them? Thankyou again for making the evening such a success. I had been planning and saving for the occasion for about 2 years, not to mention it being the first time so many of my US based friends had been to Australia. Hi Amy, I hope you are well! I assume you may be getting a little more of a break soon with the bulk of the wedding season dying down! I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU from Ben and I to yourself and the team at The Supper Club and Siglo for wonderful job on our wedding day. We went into this wedding knowing that we didn't want a 'traditional' wedding venue. We've been to too many weddings where we have felt that we were in a 'conference' style venue rather one of a style and tone where 'we would normally go and enjoy ourselves'. Ideally we wanted a restaurant and we loved that Siglo and The Supper Club was that - plus more and with experience in weddings. At the end of the day, we wanted something that felt 'like us'. The venue was simply stunning and was just what we had imagined. I loved that we got to make use of both upstairs and downstairs - both areas were fantastic and gave our guests a change of scene. We've had many guests comment on the food including our vegetarian guests who felt well looked after on the day. A special thanks as well for accommodating an additional guest on the day! And another special thanks for assisting us with name cards on the day - taking a job off our family and friends helped put them at ease so they could enjoy the day. Although we didn't initially have a lunch wedding in mind - we loved this idea and we've had many people comment on how much they enjoyed it. Weddings last one day - but an early start...with Ben and I continuing well into the night!...meant that we felt like we had really made the most of it! Thanks so much again. Hi Jess, I just wanted to let you know we were thrilled with Recoleta on Friday night. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was incredible. The cake was divine- I couldn't get over how beautiful it was, and it tasted absolutely delicious. The stars of the night were definitely your staff. They were incredibly attentive, so friendly and warm, and so on the ball. Incredibly impressive. Amanda, particularly, had everything under control. She followed up the outdating setting list she was given, and made sure everyone was seated in the correct place. And, I'm not sure who wrapped the flowers at the end, but I actually asked them if they had worked in a florist, because our guest went home with the most beautifully wrapped flowers. The music was great, even the temperature was perfect. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a single thing- it was absolute perfection.

Hello Sara! Thanks for your email and patience, we've been eating and drinking our way through regional and rural Victoria. Thank you so much, and for being a warm and patient absolute professional in the planning phase and particularly when I started to fray at the edges in the lead up! We are just so chuffed with the way everything turned out and our interstate guests were treated to some of Melbourne's finest. Paul recalls seeing you and waving on the day, my sincere apologies if I did not, I was fairly overwhelmed by the torrential downpour (we actually got stuck in the building we were in as the foyer flooded - total debacle!), being later than we had planned, not being able to take pictures as planned, not even sure I had my dress on right and my friend had to put my veil on as I almost forgot it 😅 All of this was very entertaining by the time we got to SC and saw everyone with a glass in hand, and all the stress started melting away instantly!
